Cook – Ridgway House

At Olympus Care we pride ourselves on offering an outstanding service to all of our customers. We are now looking for a Cook to join our team.

Within this role you will support the Senior Cook and the team by ordering cooking supplies and preparing and cooking meals for customers within the residential setting. You will ensure that the dining area is prepared at meal times and assist in serving of food and drinks.

You will assist with mean ideas, taking into account customers’ dietary needs. You will maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen and eating areas, in compliance with Food Hygiene regulations, policies and other regulations, while being mindful of allergies, germs and infection control.

As well as possessing good catering skills, you will ensure our customers have a high quality dining experience, always treating customers with kindness, respect and compassion, to help foster a feeling of happiness and contentment. You will also ensure that customers’ well-being and dignity are maintained, and that they are properly safeguarded.

We are always on the lookout for individuals who want to give their time back to the community at Olympus Care Services.

 

This is a 10 hours per week job role. Monday – Friday. 4pm – 6pm
