Day Centre Officer – Kettering

 

We are recruiting a Day Centre Officer into our busy LIVE team to support and enable our customers to access learning, independence, volunteering and employment opportunities across Northamptonshire, within their own communities. You will be a creative thinker, solution focussed, with excellent communication and IT skills. It is essential that you have a current driving licence, are flexible in your approach to work and positively encourage our customers to be the very best version of themselves.

You will be responsible for the day to day provision of a safe and comfortable environment from which the service can operate to provide and deliver care and support to meet the needs of our customers, and this will include direct supervision of staff. You will also ensure that customers’ well-being and dignity are maintained, and that they are properly safeguarded.

 

The service operates from Day Centres on weekdays throughout the year and on occasional Saturdays (where several weeks’ notice will be given).

Applicants need to be flexible in their working hours to support the changing needs of the service, have excellent time management skills and be competent at managing a team. It is essential that candidates are able to work independently and to a high standard. Relevant previous experience is desirable.

Ultimately you will always show kindness, compassion and understanding towards the customers within the service.

Location – LIVE Team – Kettering

Working hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
