Home carer – START North

“Working for Olympus I am certain I make a difference to the lives of our customers.”

At Olympus Care Services, we aspire to provide the best possible service to every individual we support. Our aim is to do everything we can to make our customers’ aspirations a reality. We are now looking for Home Carers to join our ever-growing team.

As a Home Carer, you will provide high quality and compassionate care for Adults in their own homes, enabling them to remain living independently whilst supporting their wellbeing, rights and choices in alignment with their personalised care plans.

You will provide a range of care and practical support; varying from assistance with personal care including assistance with dressing and washing, to support with meals, medication, and general domestic tasks. You will have an empathetic and passionate approach to care, ensuring each individuals dignity, privacy, independence and choice is supported and encouraged along the way.

In this hugely rewarding role, it’s important that you will always enjoy going the extra mile to accommodate your customer’s needs and desires. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to give their time back to the local community, or start to develop a long term career in care.

You will need to be able to travel flexibly and reliably using your own transport (mileage allowance is paid) and be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.

No experience is needed as full training is provided. Full time hours are available.

It is an exciting time to be working in local government in Northamptonshire with the journey towards the creation of two brand new unitary authorities in April 2021.  The committed approach from the whole public sector to deliver the two unitaries will present significant opportunities for joining up and transforming service delivery to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
