At Olympus Care Services, we aim to provide the best possible service to every individual we support. This is a great opportunity to join our ever growing team. We are looking for 2 enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 6 Occupational Therapist’s to join our specialist team.
Within this role you will work closely with customers with physical disabilities. Managing and accessing suitability and appropriateness of referrals for the Specialist Care Centres and Social Care Pathways. The two roles differ slightly based on responsibilities and experience.
Great opportunity for an already experienced Occupational Therapist or for an Occupational Therapist willing to transfer their skills from an acute setting to community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapist’s to join our specialist team. The applicant’s will be expected to be able to work with primarily customers with physical disabilities, manage a challenging caseload, recommend specialist equipment, minor and major adaptations and complete manual handling assessments. If their is an area such as major adaptations you have not experienced before but was willing to learn, now is your opportunity to transfer you skill into a community setting. The post will require positive attitude and sound clinical reasoning. The post will have some supervisory responsibility for colleagues working at lower levels within the team. COT is a flexible team and can usually accommodate specific staff hours, willing to discuss.
The successful candidate will be a fantastic communicator at all levels, be flexible, reliable and keen.
