Occupational Therapist (Band 6)

First formed in April 2012 as part of the Northamptonshire County Council, we provide a range of care and support services throughout Northamptonshire. We now have a great opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join us and continue to establish the therapy needs of our customers in this team. This is a fantastic new opportunity to join our Reablement service.

The role involves working primarily with customers with physical disabilities. The ideal candidate will manage a challenging caseload, provide re-enablement support, complete manual handling assessments, teach new techniques to carers and customers and also recommend specialist equipment and minor adaptations. The post will require a positive attitude and sound clinical reasoning.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience at a Band 5 or 6 level. Ultimately you will be keen, enthusiastic and looking to continue on with developing your skills in this area.

The ideal candidate will be organised, an extremely good communicator and willing to partake in all aspects of the role.

This is a full time role working Monday – Friday.
