My father was only a resident for four months and in that time he built up excellent relationships with the staff and on our regular visits he had nothing but praise for the way in which he was looked after. He referred to the staff as being “marvellous” and that it felt like a community. A few days before his unexpected death he had discussed with us the possibility of returning to his own home with a care package but knew that if he did so, told would only be possible for a short term and said he realised if he did so Boniface House might not have a vacancy at the time he might need to return to a care home environment. He told us several times how pleased he was that we had chosen Boniface for him. We had originally visited several care homes locally and felt that Boniface was the best. We particularly liked the way in which the accommodation was arranged in clusters with homely living rooms. It was a great shame his stay wasn’t longer.

Mum has Alzheimers and has been a resident for 6 years. All the staff are very approachable, helpful and caring. If a problem arises with her they let me know straight away which is very reassuring. Mum is well looked after and seems happy.

My mother has been at Boniface House for 6 years and throughout her time there the care and support has been excellent. The staff communicate regularly with relatives and treat residents with respect and dignity.
