Making use of all community and employment opportunities in the local area, the staff at Harrowden Road provide an all-round unique and personalised service to their customers.
LIVE – Learning, Independence, Volunteering and Employment was set up in January 2016 as a unique and bespoke service to provide customers with real opportunities and experiences in the world of work. The Wellingborough service has grown in strength and diversity from very simple volunteering opportunities such as recycling by can crushing and creating things to sell, to now include a range of exciting and challenging experiences for our customers including partnership working with The University of Northampton, local businesses and community volunteering opportunities. These offer individuals variety and choice to explore their interests and passions. We also offer training pathways so support skills such as CV writing, interview preparation and independent travel training.
