At Olympus Care we pride ourselves on offering an outstanding service to all of our customers. We are now looking for a Senior Cook to join our team.
You will prepare and cook all foods to ensure a high quality meal is provided and served in a timely manner to customers who may have a disability or who live with dementia. You will ensure that the dining area is prepared at meal times and assist in serving of food and drinks.
You will be responsible for ordering food items and cooking materials, and for developing creative and appetising menus, taking into account customers’ dietary needs. You will maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen and eating areas, in compliance with Food Hygiene regulations, policies and other regulations, while being mindful of allergies, germs and infection control.
As well as possessing good catering skills, you will ensure our customers have a high quality dining experience, always treating customers with kindness, respect and compassion, to help foster a feeling of happiness and contentment. You will also ensure that customers’ well-being and dignity are maintained, and that they are properly safeguarded.

Location: Southfields House
30 hours per week. Early shift, weekdays and alternate weekends
