Employment And Disability Service (EADS)

"I just wanted to thank you once again for all the help you have given me during this difficult period in my life. I am ever so grateful for it and for the patience you have shown. The Bell Plantation thing has worked wonders for my confidence, and although I still have a way to go, I feel like for the first time in a while things are going in the right direction. I am sad to not be working with you anymore but I'm sure Ally will be a worthy successor"

How We Can Help You Into Work

Our team will talk to you about what sort of work you would like to do, help you to identify your strengths, and support you to find and apply for suitable jobs.

We will be able to support you in many different ways, from assisting you to complete job application forms and prepare for an interview, through to helping you plan your travel arrangements to work.

Whatever sort of work you would like to do, we will be able to find something that’s right for you. We work with employers in many different industries, from the NHS and local councils, through to national retailers and small companies.

Once you have successfully got a new job, we can then assist you to find appropriate training courses, and advise you and your employer about making adaptations to your workplace which will make it easier for you to do your job.

EADS currently deliver supported employment provision across Northamptonshire and Leicestershire via three funded contracts, Work Choice, Specialist Employability Support (SES) and Links to Work.

How EADS Can Help Employers

Our highly knowledgeable and experienced team has been advising employers about Disability Equality for over 35 years.  We can help you make positive changes to your work place to widen your reach to a perhaps previously untapped resource of skills.

We can provide bespoke training, workplace assessments, and information about making reasonable adjustments to the workplace which enable employees to work safely and efficiently at work. We also offer training for line managers and customer-facing staff.

With an individually tailored programme of flexible support, our Employment Development Officers can help you to make changes to your workplace so that everyone can continue to work effectively.

Helping You To Stay In Employment

Once you have found a job that’s right for you, our team of experts will help you to work safely and happily.

By listening to you, we will put together a flexible support package which meets your individual needs and helps to make sure that you are able to reach your potential.

Enquiries To Our Service

Prospective employees are usually referred to EADS from the Jobcentre Plus and they will currently be on the Work Choice employment support programme.
