"The supporting member of staff YF made Sharon find the cooking session very relaxed and did not feel rushed. The food prepared was yummy. There were smiles and laughter throughout the session."
WHAT DO WE DO?
We offer day services to support adults with a profound and multiple learning disability at Olympus House Northampton, Ashgrove House Rushden and Oakley Grange Corby and Complex Behaviours at the Henley Centre Kettering and Gladstone Centre Northampton
Our in house stimulating and engaging sessions are designed to work with an individual around movement, independence, and health and wellbeing.
We work with professionals to achieve the best possible outcome for the customer:
We encourage and support individuals to access a range of activities which include swimming, hydro therapy, sail ability, disability bike and access to the local town.
Our in house sessions include sensory stimulation, passive movements, fun sessions with interactive games, music, sensory based cooking as well as working with the individual’s mobility.
Our building at Weston Favell is based on the ground floor. Each room has overhead hoists. Our sensory room offers a unique environment for stimulation and relaxation. The two large bathrooms enable personal care to be carried out in a dignified way.
We provide a range of care and support services throughout Northamptonshire for adults with disabilities and older people. We aspire to provide the best possible service to every individual we support and we strongly believe that it is our role to promote their independence and respect the decisions they make. Our aim is to do everything we can to make our customers’ aspirations a reality.
