Shift Leader – Longlands

OCS are recruiting to a Shift Leader position within one of our busy specialist care centre. This senior role will work closely alongside the management team, supporting with running the home when required.

As a shift leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a key worker for designated customers. Ensuring they are supported in all aspects of their life.
  • Monitoring and administering medication, personal care and as directed by their individual care plan, help maintain health and wellbeing.
  • Prioritise and direct the workload of team members accordingly, ensuring any issues are dealt with as they arise.
  • Ensure all administration tasks are carried out with accuracy. Inputting additional information onto care plans, as required.
  • Liaising with health care professionals

 

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a care shift leader position.
  • NVQ level 2 in Health & Social care or equivalent

 

 

Location: Longlands, Daventry

Working hours and rota: 24 hours per week. 2 x 12 hour shifts from Monday – Sunday

We are creating two new unitary councils in Northamptonshire from 1st April 2021. This position will be TUPE transferred into West Northamptonshire Council at that point. People starting after 1st April will be appointed by West Northamptonshire Council rather than Northamptonshire County Council.
